There are lots of Resistance tools that you can use to make your opinions known about the issues important to you. Here are a few of them.

5Calls.org

One of the important ways to voice your opinion is to call your representative or senator and let them know what you think. An easy way to do this is you the App “5Calls.org.” You can download this like any other app for your phone. This app makes it easy to call your representative:

It starts by giving you a list of current issues that you may have an opinion about. You can pick one to make your call.
Next, when you put in your address it gives you the phone number to call for your local representatives.
Then, if you are unsure what to say about the issue, the app provides a brief script that you can use. You don’t have to use this exactly, but if you get the gist of the message that works.
Next, you make the phone call. Sometimes you will speak to a person in the office, but you will also get voicemail. In either case, you can leave a message.
“Calling” is the most effective way to share your opinion, because your representative can easily find out who is for or against a legislative idea.

Contacting the White House

This page allows you to send an email to the White House. You cannot send this anonymously, you will have to provide your location and contact information. Also, you will probably be subscribed to various “White House” communications, but you can unsubscribe to these. Be thoughtful about your message, do not use threats for curse, this won’t help your cause. Just be clear about what you like and dislike about various policies and actions of the president.
